Earlier this year, we silently launched the [beta] plugin Mollie Connect for WooCommerce Vendors. The reason for this approach was simple, discovering the challenges and improvements areas based on the feedback of marketplace admins. After almost a year of Beta development, we are proud to announce the first stable version today.
What is Mollie Connect?
Mollie is an affordable payment service provider in Europe. Mollie Connect allows your vendors to login with their own Mollie account to directly accept iDEAL, Creditcard, PayPal or other payments. This way you can automate your marketplace without having to worry of paying out your vendors. On top of this, you can setup a commission fee (percentage) and generate an income stream.
What do I need to use this plugin?
There are a couple of plugins you need to build your own WordPress based Marketplace:
- WooCommerce – free
- WC Vendors – free
- WC Vendors Pro – paid add-on (mandatory)
On top of this, you also need of course an approved Mollie account to setup a Mollie Connect App in your account with a Client ID, Client Secret and Redirect URL.
